I’ve always wanted to do a family reunion around christmas.  So I’ve been poking around trying to find the ideal Norman Rockwellian setting.  My equirements are cabin/lodge feel, snow, enough beds and baths for everyone, nobody in hide-a-beds.

I recently stumbled upon this Lake Vermillion Lodge in Minnesota.

Minnesota is good so that at least once family doesn’t have to fly anywhere.

I ran across this lodge in Colorado .

We spent 3 days in Tahoe. The snow was a bit old and frozen but at 4 and 2, the kids just don’t care.
