Well folks, I did it. I uploaded over 800 photos. I created thumbnails and they are sorted by date (for the most part). I strongly recommend that you use PICLENS to view them all.

CLICK HERE (be patient, let all the thumbnails load, this is going to take a few minutes.)

Hello version 2.0

Tag: billbill @ 2:55 am

Okay folks, if you haven’t noticed by now I’ve done a major rebuilt of billandiris.com.  My old site had fallen out of support and my Gallery was being hacked more often than I cared for.  PHPNuke - the content management program that I was using - was always a bit overkill for what I wanted or even needed.

Of course the nice thing about PHPNuke was that Gallery was fully integrated and seamless (from your prospective).  Since I’ve been playing with Wordpress (the software you see now) my biggest hurdle has been photo management.  How can I easily upload and organize my photos and give you easy, seamless access to them?

Then I found PicLens, which I absolutely love!   So, let’s start there.  You’re going to need the Piclens plug in for your browser if you want to really enjoy our photo galleries.  If you’re using the FireFox browser, please go HERE and download the plug-in.  For Internet Explorer users, click HERE.

Once you’ve got that installed, you’ll have to find a post with link to photos (the category PHOTOS will help you find them quickly).  Click on the provided link to access the overview.  Then, hover over a single image and you should see a small PLAY button appear on the image; click it.  Enjoy!
